Our Story

We started Native Ed based on the belief that many educators feel as we do, that Native American history should be taught as an integral part of American history. However, because so few educators received any such teaching, it is challenging and time consuming for busy teachers to put together such lessons. Native Ed intends to fill this gap, providing educators with hundreds of high quality, easily accessible, free lessons on a wide variety of topics for a wide variety of ages, all produced from an indigenous perspective. We intend to empower our fellow teachers to effectively educate their students about this essential aspect of our history.
